Chris Roelen MSc (1973) is interim senior executive, consultant and supervisory board member. He is specialized in digital innovation, reputation and strategic marketing communication, business transformation, mergers and crisis management.

In 1999 Chris started his career as a management trainee at ORMIT. Next he founded Lionfish and started working as an interim senior executive and (strategy) consultant. He is passionate about helping organizations and executives to lead fundamental breakthroughs, often on a challenging private-public interface.

In addition, Chris is a supervisory board member. He also regularly writes on topics where leadership and innovation come together. In 2020 he published the Manifesto ‘Data and Algorithm for the 2020’s, His vision on leadership can be found here.

Chris studied economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam between 1991-1998. As a research assistant he graduated at the Institute for Sociological Economic Research. Between 2005 and 2007 he studied at the Rotterdam School of Management where he graduated for a master degree in Corporate Communication.
